Builder&Mason /died aged 48yrs Shipping List (A.O. Reel 400) :- Alexander Anderson arrived in Sydneyfrom San Francisco on 10th October,1854 aboard the ship H.T.Bartlett. Shipping List (A.O. Reel 2138) :- Christina Anderson (32yrs) & her 3children; James (9), John (10) & Jane (13) arrived in Sydney from Plymouth on27th February,1858 aboard the ship Stebonhearh. Letters exist which Alexander wrote to with wife and children in Scotlandfrom Brooklyn in New York, California and Sydney dated in the early 1850's.There is also a glass photograph of his wife 'Christina' and their 3 Scottishborn children taken in late 1840's. Robert Henry and Lex Anderson hold these. Alexander helped lay the foundation stones of St.Mary's Cathedral inCollege Street, Sydney.
